    I remember sitting and watching it live. Or was I watching some staged theatrical event in some hangar in New Mexico? There are those that still believe it never happened. Conspiracy theorists. To me it was simply amazing.

    What would there have been to gain if it was staged....just to prove to Russia that we can do it?...please.

    It would have been awesome to see live on tv, to witness something like this in my lifetime. People have become so complacent with the space program. Now the majority of people have no idea when a space shuttle goes up any more.

    Society, today....urks me.

    All I know is for my 3rd birthday my present was somebody walked on the moon - since then my birthday presents have all been downhill!!
